Badoo has not been able to turn its social network on as expected, and the social network will fail on Friday, according to a report.
The Badoo team is also reportedly concerned about the lack of an official YouTube account for Badoo, a fact which could cause users to have trouble accessing the Badoo site.
A video on YouTube has already been posted in the Badongos account to show the site in use, and Badoo users can access it from their smartphones.
The video is now unavailable.
The network will not be able to send messages, upload videos, or send video chat to anyone, the report said.
The company’s social media manager, Daniel Sze, has also not yet returned a phone call to The Verge requesting comment.
A Twitter account belonging to Badoo founder and CEO Jia Kang has been inactive since the beginning of the week, and a number of posts were deleted in the first few hours of Friday.
“As for the company’s current plan to use the social media to spread the word and share news about Badoo’s upcoming launches, Badoo will fail as a social network in the foreseeable future,” the report stated.
